L. Ron Hubbard Birthday Celebration

The annual celebration of L. Ron Hubbard's birthday was held one and a half weeks ago in Clearwater and Los Angeles and last week in Scientology churches around the world.

It was a terrific event, with the Church of Scientology Tampa being acknowledged as the fastest growing Scientology church in the world.

There was another great surprise as well.

In 1982 L. Ron Hubbard established a standardby which all Scientology churches could be judged and to which they all work to accomplish. In the mid-1960's when Mr. Hubbard lived in England there was a tremendous expansion of the Saint Hill Organization in East Grinstead, where he lived and where the Saint Hill Special Briefing Course was held, where Ron delivered hundreds of lecutures to students, often at a rate of two every day.

Saint Hill was a big, booming church, and all churches word to expand to be as big as old Saint Hill.

At the event, the Church of Scientology of San Francisco being recognized for having expanded to the size of old Saint Hill.

In November 2003 Mr. David Miscavige spoke at the grand opening of the new premises for the San Francisco church, and an excerpt from his speech is online.
