L. Ron Hubbard's Birthday

It's nearly March 13th. As I described in an earlier post,Scientology churches and missions celebrate L. Ron Hubbard's birthday. Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center is master of ceremonies, and there of recent years the LRH biographer gives a speech about some aspect of Mr. Hubbard's life, often telling anecdotes or sharing information that most Scientologists never knew before.

It is always a special time, where all Scientologists gather to pay tribute to Mr. Hubbard and the legacy he left the world -- a true religious technology.

L. Ron Hubbard instituted a tradition, back in the mid-1970's. He was asked what he would like most for his birthday and what he said was "expansion."

Take this in the right context. With the Aims of Scientology being a world without insanity, crime or war expansion of Scientology is something that benefits all mankind.

And this year is very special indeed. For the past three months, Scientology Volunteer Ministers have been in South Asia helping the areas and people hardest hit by the tsunamis to put their lives back together. They are doing such a fantastic job, and I'm sure news of what they are doing will be shared with the entire Scientology network.

You don't have to be a Scientologist to attend the L. Ron Hubbard birthday event. Many times LRH's fiction fans come to this event. Families and friends are invited. In fact, anyone who wants to find out more about Scientology is absolutely welcome.

Here's a link to a web site that has the contact information for the Scientology churches and missions.
